Season opens Saturday, October 5, 2024.
We offer guided waterfowl hunting trips targeting ducks and geese on our exclusive private ranches. Our hunting season is normally from early October through most of November. We have blinds on the Colorado River, farm ponds, small creeks and flooded fields.
During the early season, we spend most of our time hunting smaller creeks, sloughs and standing water in cut hay fields. Expect to see Mallards, Gadwall, Teal, and Wigeon ducks.
As the weather gets colder later in the season, we usually see Mallards, Gadwall, Wigeon, Bluebill, Goldeneye, and Bufflehead ducks and Canada Geese.
With incredible mountain views, seeing the sunrise on the decoys from our blind is an experience your group will remember for a lifetime. We primarily hunt near Kremmling, a short drive from Winter Park, Granby, Silverthorne, or Steamboat.
Duck Hunt Cost: $300 per hunter, half day hunt, morning or afternoon (gratuity not included). Minimum of 2.
Youth Hunter Discount: $100 off for kids 16 and under. Minimum 2 adults. 1 youth discounted per adult.
Three people maximum per guide. We can accommodate larger groups with additional guides.
50% deposit required. All hunts are non-refundable.
What to Expect -
We typically meet about an hour before sunrise, so you might want to stay somewhere nearby, like Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Granby, or Silverthorne/Summit County. The day prior to your hunting experience, we decide which type of water to hunt on the ranch, based on scouting and weather conditions.
